Here I accept the 2007 Webby Award for the best activism Web site, SavetheInternet.com, earlier this month.As some may know the Webby Awards only allow five-word acceptance speeches.
Ironically, the sponsor of the award category was long-time foe Verizon Communications.
My five words: "Verizon Doesn't Own the Internet"
That's Rob Corddry over my right shoulder. He laughed. The crowd cheered for about three seconds. They wouldn't let me take the trophy home.

I was there (I am the Webby Canadian Ambassador) and that speech was clearly one of the highlights of the Webbys for me.
