Born again libertarian Vox Day (pseudonym anyone?) has taken a break from his usual outrage to gloat over the Jordan resignation: “Jordan's accusation made no sense at all,” he writes. “Because if American troops were going to target journalists, those topping the list would almost surely be the left-liberal elites working in New York City and Washington, D.C. The legacy media has hated the American soldier since Vietnam...”
Vox's anger at the “New York Times and by the ABCNNBCBS cabal” seems to stem not only from a belief that liberals are leading America on a “long march toward lethal socialist utopia,” but also from his failure last year to sell his column to a single newspaper. Vox says he’s the victim of a vast left-wing media conspiracy. Or could it be that he’s just a crappy writer in need of a heavy dose of anger-management counseling?

Vox says 'the Left' have no respect for the individual and try to subsume everyone into 'a collective', then he says they are 'elitist'. His slurs do not agree with each other.
Vox says he’s the victim of a vast left-wing media conspiracy.Ummm, no he didn't. I didn't see that anywhere on the site to which you linked. Were those comments made elsewhere?
For a guy who prides himself on his intelligence (ever notice how many times he talks about his high test scores and general brilliance?) and clear, logical thinking, you would think he would try harder to show all that natural giftedness in his writing.
And for all his talk of his not caring that Universal dumped his sorry ass, he sure does talk about it a lot. Now he is comparing his readership with that of other WND columnists (sure they appreciate that) to show how popular he really is. Then he made some comment about having to be either a Jew or a woman to get hired. Sure dude, you're oppressed.
This, coupled with his obsession over his supposed ability to kick everyone's asses, causes me to think he has a problem with his masculinity. But I guess this is quite obvious. Perhaps it stems from the fact that his father is an unrepentant tax-evading criminal, perhaps he was just born that way.
And, having read his WND columns, his sentence structure is no more complex than that of Charles Krauthammer or George Will, and they have no problem getting published.
Prediction: he'll never get the recognition he thinks he deserves and will die an even more bitter man than he is now.
For a supposed Christian, he sure does love to talk about pre-Christian days treating women like crap. Of course, they weren't Christian women, so they deserved it, and he'll be happy to tell guys how they can nail the heathen sluts too. He certainly doesn't seem like a transformed man or a man who sees the image of God reflected in everyone. I've met fundies who genuinely do adhere to the "everyone has a soul" and should therefore get at least some respect, but in the case of the Voice of God or whatever his fake name means, I guess women just aren't deserving.
Shame. timmothy you linked me to that site. Now I spend much too much time refuting arguements there and entertaining them with my NonElitist Spelling.
But, you're correct that the writing's abysmal there....note his latest and the one supposedly satire of pro abortion arguments that actually make Abortion seem a great thing.. (which in my case was probably a good thing....)
"libertarian" "born again" oxymoron?
